Patient Resources

We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with the best possible care! Please read the Patient Letter, print and fill out the Registration Form and Health History Form and bring those documents with you on the day of your procedure.
Anticipating surgery can be stressful and part of the anxiety can arise out of not fully understanding out-of-pocket expenses associated with a proposed surgery. At the RWJ Endosurgical Center, we believe it is important to make patients aware of their potential financial expense prior to their procedure.
One of our insurance verification specialists will contact you if there’s an anticipated out of pocket expense associated with you planned procedure. Please realize charges for your procedure at the RWJ Endosurgical Center are separate from your surgeon’s charges as well as any anesthesiologist’s and/or pathologist’s charges which may be incurred.

The RWJ Endosurgical Center collects all co-payments or co-insurance on the day of your procedure. All remaining balances are due within 90 days of service.

If your procedure is not covered by insurance, full payment is required at the time of service, unless other arrangements are made in advance.

The RWJ Endosurgical Center is a Medicare/Medicaid certified facility. As such, we are held to strict practice standards.

Patients – or their legal guardians – are ultimately responsible for payment of facility services. As a courtesy, the RWJ Endosurgical Center will bill your primary and secondary insurance carriers for you. Please bring your insurance cards and photo identification with you on the day of surgery. We are under contract with the area’s most popular insurance carriers and are required to collect all co-payments from our patients. Such co-payments may include your co-insurance as identified by your insurance plan.

The RWJ Endosurgical Center accepts cash, checks and any major credit card, a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), a Health Savings Account (HAS), or Care Credit as a financing option.

Feel free to contact our business office at 732-432-6880 ext. 121 Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM with questions regarding your billing or insurance information. We will be happy to assist you.

The Center’s business office staff may contact you to verify your insurance and identify any out of pocket expense you may have. If you do not receive a call before 2PM the day prior to your procedure, please contact the office at 732-432-6880.
